They only act in their own interest and their acts are totally destructive to the Hong Kong community. They hae done nothing positive to Hong Kong. They are indeed a waste of Hong Kong's money. As publicy elected legislators, they should indeed act in the collective interest and good of Hong Kong people. The Link espisode is just an illustration of how selfish and irresponsible they are. Instead of admitting their wrongdoing, they are now shifting the blame to the Government officials. It is a big shame of Hong Kong to have such "legislators"- THEY SHOULD RESIGN FORTHWITH. |

He only aimed to achieve his personal and political agenda with total disregard of the overall interest of Hong Kong.With the manipulation of collapse of LINK REIT IPO, not only there is negative impact on Hong Kong as a financial hub, which we proudly treasure, but it would also be unfair to the public housing tenants and people-in-waiting for public housing.With the successful IPO of Link-reit, the dire financial situation of the Housing Authority will improve. The financial improvement will enable the Authority to embellish the amenities and environment of the housing estates, as well as to provide better quality service to the housing tenants. Most importantly, it would shorten the waiting period of people applying for public housing. All parties concerned are in a real lose-lose situation in this case. Albert Cheng has been doing a great disservice to the people of Hong Kong and is a disgrace to this city. I consider he is totally unfit to be a legislator. On each and every occasion, he intentionally spares no time for anybody to talk, nor does he allow anybody to talk, except he himself. By talking loudly and arbitrarily, he assumes he is the winner of the show. With such person in Hong Kong, democracy would not progress but retrogress, not the least to say that it sets a very bad example to the young people of Hong Kong. So, should Hong Kong be in a better shape without such deceitful multi-faced, undemocratic and disgraceful politician(s).I declare I had not applied for the IPO of LINK-reit. |
